There are two sign-on form templates:
- Project Sign-on Sheet and
- Office Sign-on Sheet
Both are very similar and the main difference is that the Projects Sign-on records time spent on different projects where-as the Office Sign-on is essentially used for workers to sign-on and off from the office.
Projects Sign-on
Project Column
In the project column you will only want to write actual project names or project codes. We tend to use the first name of our contact who is in charge of the project. However there might be some re-occurring times that you might need to record as well eg admin and travel times. The best thing here is to show this in-front of the sign-on time eg A or T. The abbreviations you use should be written as a key under the project lines.
Mon – Sun Columns
Record the sign-on time when you start a new project, No need to record the sign-off time since the next sign-on is also the sign-off of the previous project, please see sample below. The only exception is that the sign-ff time for the day needs to be recorded in the last row for every day.
